In The End by ageofloss In The End by ageofloss
...after the hurricane-force winds, there would be vertical updraft. A large mushroom cloud would rise, containing dust and smoke, and firestorms would begin. The day would darken to night as the atmosphere was obscured... late global fallout located in the stratosphere, lasts for years. It produces nuclear winter with no sunlight, no rainfall, and a drop in temperature. Nuclear winter would blacken the atmosphere and obscure the sun, moon and stars...
"The Coming Holocaust" By Rance Taylor & "The Fate of the Earth" By Jonathan Schell

Here's a photo I took in Pellinge near Porvoo.
Experimenting with textures.

I like about this one how you turned it into "a photograph of old times" with those scratches and stuff. Great composition, suggesting the ominous "day after" quite perfectly. A picture of the last day of human kind ;)

It's pretty! I really like it. But i'm not sure if I like this one the best of all your work. You've made so many beautiful pictures, I nearly can't make a choise.

I like your implementations of space and form within this frame; I can really feel the distance beyond.

And I see the two tree trunks at the base and it reminds me of a married couple fading away into the uncertain future....

Great picture once again, and nice lighting.

Such a grim prospect though, global holocaust.

I hope it never comes to such extremes!!!

I'm not sure if I like the texture effect or not. It works, don't get me wrong, it works well. But I think it would look just as good without it.

Melkoista. Joutui suosikkeihin. Tekstuurit tekevät tästä mielestäni mielenkiintoisemman kuin puhtaan version, vaikka solkku olikin eri mieltä :) Itseasiassa kysyisin uteliaisuudesta, mitä tekstuureja olet käyttänyt tässä (ja mistä yleensäkin tämän kaltaisia tekstuureja löytää?)

Tekstuuri tosiaan tuntuu jakavan mielipiteitä :)
Kannattaa valokuvata erilaisia pintoja joissa on selkeä tekstuuri ihan vaan tekstuuri käyttöön, tietty niitä löytyy myös stokkikuvina. ja kiitti kun viittit favettaa :)

great. love the tone and the composition, the shadows of the stones... about the texture, I find it a bit in contrast with the photo -a contrast of new and old, they don't match like they should. my opinion of course =)

hmm, interesting shot/concept. I my opinion, I have to say you overdid the textures and brushes a tad, and prob could have brightened it up some more. I know the feel you were going for, but a little too harsh in my mind here.

Great job though!
