Hello all!!

I haven't been very active here on dA lately, all kinds of things have kept me busy, yet I'm surely still shooting as often as it's possible. In a few weeks I'm starting my five-week summer holidays, so I should've plenty of time for phototrips and stuff.

I just got accepted to Heltech-av for 2 year study of photography, thought I'd make it my profession, since it's been such a great hobby all these years.

I updated my gallery with Caught In The Moment and thanks to you guys it hit the front page the very same day, feels like a damn comeback to me! Appreciated

cause the old one was getting too small.



Third of all, I also bought a remote control compatible with the 40D
(Micnova, equivalent to Canon RS-80N3)

Hello all!!

It seems like I always need a damn good reason to make a new journal entry here, could be that I'm just that lazy or the like? Dunno, but here's one again.

I've got some good news, at least I'm pretty excited about it myself. I got me the Canon EOS 40D about half a week ago. Tho I haven't had a chance to use it as much as I'd have liked, partly cause of the weather, it sucks most of the time. Doesn't feel like we're living in the cold north right now, it's the beginning of Feb and it's raining. So much for the cool snowy winter shots, thanks to global warming! I was close to buy the EOS 5D, very close actually, but you know I've invested too much to my lens collection to change it to full frame atm.

The very few pictures I've taken with 40D are spectacular in quality compared to my old 350D, but I guess that's not surprising. I really hope to be able to get out and see the camera in real action as soon as possible.

I'm planning on starting a series of interviews of great photographers here on dA. I've sent out a bunch of inquiries for some people already, but it would be great if you guys would tell me who to interview, since your the ones reading my journal. So any suggestion will do! The whole point is to learn more about photography in general.
