Biography
| First of all, I'm not a professional photographer. However, I've taken a few photography courses to learn the basics and now I'm simply self-educating myself to increase my know-how. I started photographing at the end of 2003, but I didn't really have the passion for it at that time nor the equipment, just an old HP camera, which I borrowed from my sister every now and then. In the very beginning most of my photos were macros or close-ups and especially bugs made an interesting subject. Since I never had a proper macro lens I had to come up with some home-made solutions to get close enough. I held magnifying glasses and telescope lenses in front of the camera to yield neat macro shots. Nowadays, I consider myself to be a landscape photographer – almost exclusively. If you ever happen to buy any of my prints I wish you'd send me some feedback especially about the picture quality, so I can work on that in the future to offer you even better quality prints (having said this I know DeviantART also has a lot to do with the quality depending on their press techniques, so it's not all me).
